After two years of trying, streamer finished the impossible FromSoftware challenge

FromSoftware games are notoriously challenging, as evidenced by Kai Cenat's thousand-plus deaths in Elden Ring. This makes the accomplishments of players tackling additional self-imposed hardships all the more remarkable. Streamer Dinossindgeil has etched his name in gaming history, becoming the first person to complete God Run 3 SL1 – a grueling feat requiring completion of seven consecutive FromSoftware games without leveling up or taking a single hit.

This nearly two-year endeavor culminated in a triumphant, tearful victory over Soul of Cinder in Dark Souls III. The God Run 3 SL1 challenge is widely considered the most difficult in the FromSoftware community, demanding unwavering precision and countless attempts. The unforgiving rules mandate restarting the entire run from the beginning upon taking even a single point of damage, regardless of progress.

Dinossindgeil's journey was punctuated by setbacks, including a frustrating encounter with a bug in Dark Souls II in the summer of 2024, where an arrow inexplicably clipped through a wall, forcing him to restart after already conquering Elden Ring and Dark Souls I. His perseverance is a testament to his skill and dedication.

It remains to be seen how FromSoftware will react to this extraordinary achievement, but Dinossindgeil's place in gaming history is undeniably secure.
