Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, released in February 2024 to mixed reception, will cease receiving updates on January 14th. This decision, announced on December 9th, 2024, comes less than a year after launch. The game's unexpected live-service model is widely considered a contributing factor to its short lifespan. Despite this, online features will remain accessible, allowing players to continue enjoying the game with friends.

Following a brief period of server downtime, Season 4 Episode 8: Balance is now live. This final update introduces a Libra-themed Infamy Set, new Notorious weapons, and a climactic Mayhem mission against Brainiac. Significant bug fixes and gameplay improvements, including reduced Squad Level XP requirements, are also included.

Offline play, enabled in Season 4 Episode 7, allows players to access all campaign and seasonal story missions even without an internet connection. While Rocksteady hasn't announced a server shutdown, this offline mode ensures continued accessibility regardless of future server status.
