Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2's major collaboration with The Terminator includes a thrilling event offering a wealth of free rewards. This guide details how to unlock every reward.

How the Terminator Event Works

Similar to the Archie's Festival Frenzy event, The Terminator event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone requires collecting a special currency: Skulls. Unlike XP or challenge-based events, this involves accumulating Skulls through gameplay and redeeming them for rewards.

Skulls drop from eliminating enemies in Multiplayer and Zombies modes, or by opening caches in Warzone. You must physically collect them; they appear as floating skulls near the ground after a kill or cache opening. Listen for a distinctive audio cue to locate them. Note that Skull drops aren't guaranteed with every elimination or cache.

Earning Skulls Fast

Since Skull drops are somewhat random, maximizing your chances is key. Here's the most efficient approach for each game mode:

• Black Ops 6 Multiplayer: Play Kill Confirmed, preferably on smaller maps like Nuketown.
• Black Ops 6 Zombies: Farm zombie kills with the Rampage Inducer active.
• Warzone: Open as many chests as possible in Resurgence mode; Solos is recommended.

While all methods work, drop rates vary. Our testing indicates round-based Zombies (early rounds, before Round 6, with Rampage Inducer) yields the most Skulls per minute, followed by early Resurgence matches in Warzone. However, cache frequency diminishes in later Warzone matches, while Zombie Skull spawns increase with round progression. Inconsistent drop rates are noted; you might find several Skulls early but then experience dry spells.

For optimal Zombie Skull farming, focus on early rounds in maps like Liberty Falls or The Tomb. GobbleGums like Hidden Power, Crate Power, or Wall Power enhance weapon power for faster kills. However, Skull spawns slow considerably after around 10 Skulls per match.
