How to Get Started:

1. Take a trip on a train, bus, tram, or metro before using the app.
2. Select your preferred method of checking in and out: debit card, credit card, or mobile.
3. If you've traveled by public transport in the Netherlands, download the app.
4. Create an account to unlock all the app's features. We'll guide you through the process step by step.
5. Once your account is set up and your first trip is logged, your new check-in and out method is added. Now you're ready to use all the app's features.

What is OVpay?

OVpay is a collaborative effort by all major transport carriers in the Netherlands: Arriva, Connexxion, EBS, GVB, HTM, Keolis, NS, Qbuzz, RET, and Transdev, along with Translink, and in partnership with Dutch banks. This app complements the traditional 'OV-chipkaart' by allowing you to check in and out using your debit card, credit card, or mobile phone.
