v2rayNG is a V2Ray client for Android, compatible with Xray and v2fly cores. V2Ray is a part of "Project V," focusing on network and communication protocols. While similar to the Shadowsocks proxy, v2rayNG aims to be a platform for developers to utilize its modules and build new proxy software. This Android project can be compiled directly in Android Studio or using the Gradle tool.

This application can run on Android emulators. For WSA, VPN permission must be granted through "appops." v2rayNG enables the deployment of private network environments, primarily designed to combat internet censorship. Its use is prevalent in countries with internet monitoring, such as China, allowing access to otherwise blocked content. Running v2rayNG on your Android device has minimal impact on download and upload speeds, ensuring smooth enjoyment of content like videos, web search results, and social networks.
