Get ready to unleash your inner demon hunter! Netflix is bringing the electrifying world of Devil May Cry to life in an all-new anime series, and a brand-new trailer has just dropped to whet our appetites. But here's the truly exciting news: the legendary Kevin Conroy will be lending his iconic voice to this adaptation, even posthumously.

Conroy, forever celebrated as the definitive voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman in countless animated projects, takes on the role of VP Baines, a new character whose voice is showcased in the trailer's opening moments.

PlayConroy's posthumous performance follows his acclaimed work in *Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3*, released in July 2024, offering fans another opportunity to appreciate his incredible talent. Joining Conroy in the stellar cast are Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary, Hoon Lee as White Rabbit, Chris Coppola as Enzo, and Johnny Yong Bosch as the iconic Dante himself.

According to Netflix, the series synopsis is as follows: "Sinister forces are at play, threatening to open a portal between the human and demon realms. At the heart of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds rests on his shoulders."

Adi Shankar, known for his work on films like Dredd (2012), Killing Them Softly (2012), and The Voices (2014), serves as showrunner. He's also slated to executive produce an Assassin's Creed adaptation, though its future remains uncertain after its 2017 announcement.

The animation will be handled by Studio Mir, a renowned South Korean studio behind acclaimed series such as The Legend of Korra and X-Men ‘97. Devil May Cry premieres on Netflix April 3, 2025.
