Dead Cells Mobile's final free content updates delayed until February 18th, 2025
The highly anticipated final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been pushed back to February 18th, 2025. Developer Playdigious announced the delay but also confirmed the new release date.
These updates, already released on PC and consoles, will introduce exciting new content to the mobile version. "Clean Cut" features two new weapons: the Sewing Scissors (survival-focused) and the Giant Comb (brutality-focused). A new NPC, the Tailor's Daughter, allows players to customize their character's appearance.
"The End is Near" lives up to its name by adding formidable new enemies: the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer. Players can also look forward to new skills and colorless mutations, like Demonic Strength, which significantly boosts damage when cursed.
Playdigious has consistently provided substantial free updates for Dead Cells, and while the end of this era of free content was initially met with some disappointment, the developer has earned a well-deserved break.
Both "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near" will launch simultaneously on Android and iOS on February 18th, 2025. New players are encouraged to explore our Dead Cells weapon tier list before embarking on their perilous journey across the cursed island.
