• Monitor the Sites and Content Your Child Views: Norton Family makes the internet a safer space for your kids by informing you about the websites they visit. It allows you to block potentially harmful or inappropriate content, giving you peace of mind as they explore the web.‡
• Set Limits on Your Child’s Internet Access: You can help your children achieve a balanced lifestyle by setting screen time limits on their devices. This feature is particularly useful for managing distractions during remote learning sessions or ensuring they get enough rest at bedtime.‡
• Stay Informed About Your Child’s Physical Location: With the geo-location feature, you can track your child’s whereabouts and receive alerts if they enter or leave designated areas. This functionality ensures you're always aware of their safety. (4)

Norton Family is packed with features that empower parents to safeguard their children’s online activities:

• Instant Lock: Need your kids to take a break from their devices? Use the Instant Lock feature to help them refocus or join family time, like dinner. Communication remains open even when the device is locked.
• Web Supervision: Allow your children to explore the internet freely while using tools to block unsuitable websites. Stay informed about the sites they visit to ensure their online journeys are safe. (6)
• Video Supervision: Keep an eye on the YouTube videos your kids watch on their PCs or mobile devices. You can even view snippets of the videos, helping you decide when to discuss content with them. (3)
• Mobile App Supervision: Get visibility into the apps your children download on their Android devices and control which ones they can use. (5)

Time Features:

• School Time: During remote learning, you can't simply pause the internet. Instead, manage content access to relevant categories and websites to help your child stay focused on their studies.

Location Features:

• Alert Me: Automatically receive updates on your child’s location. Set specific times and dates to get alerts about the whereabouts of their device. (2)

‡ Norton Family and Norton Parental Control are compatible with your child’s Windows PC, iOS, and Android devices, though not all features are available on every platform. You can monitor and manage your child’s activities from any device – Windows PC (excluding Windows 10 in S mode), iOS, and Android – via our mobile apps or by logging into your account at my.Norton.com and selecting Parental Control through any browser.

1. Parents can access my.Norton.com or family.Norton.com and select Parental Control to view their child’s activity and manage settings from any supported browser on any device.

2. Location Supervision features are not available in all countries. Visit Norton.com for details. The feature requires Norton Family to be installed and active on your child’s device.

3. Video Supervision monitors videos on YouTube.com but does not track videos embedded in other websites or blogs.

4. Location Supervision needs to be activated before use.

5. The mobile app must be downloaded separately.

6. Norton Family utilizes the AccessibilityService API to collect data about websites viewed through browsers on your child's device. It also helps prevent the child from removing permissions without parental authentication.
