This initiative, announced on February 3, 2025, marks a significant step towards collaborative game development between players and developers.

Recognizing the pivotal development stage of the next Battlefield game, Battlefield Studios, in partnership with Electronic Arts (EA), is seeking unprecedented community input. Selected players will act as beta testers, providing crucial feedback on new features and mechanics.

Battlefield Labs will focus on testing key aspects of the game, starting with core combat and destruction mechanics. This will progress to weapon, vehicle, and gadget balancing, ultimately culminating in testing map design, game modes, and squad dynamics.
